Making Perth shine: EOS Electrical buys new Tadano TM-ZE550 loader crane
21.Dec.2020

When enjoying their bright Christmas lights this year, the City of Perth and its residents can thank EOS Electrical and its brand new Tadano TM-ZE550 truck loader crane for making it all possible. “We needed a powerful truck loader crane in order to be able to carry out the Christmas lights contract for the city. I spoke to a few other people in the industry and they recommended the Tadano vehicle loading cranes, so I made the decision to purchase the TM-ZE550 – also to expand our fleet,” reports EOS Electrical Managing Director Eamonn O’Sullivan, who closed the deal with Tadano Oceania Senior Sales Manager Stephen Lazenby. “Stephen knew exactly what we needed and did everything necessary to make sure that the purchase would go without a hitch,” he says, praising the company’s customer service and the way they worked together.

Eamonn O’Sullivan has absolutely no regrets regarding his purchase decision: “The remote is a big plus for us – it allows us to move around the machine while it’s in operation, as opposed to having to stay at the side of the machine. The remote also gives us the flexibility to see the machine and the job from different angles,” he explains. He is also thrilled with the crane’s auto-setup and auto-pack-up functions: “It makes the crane so easy to use and saves time.” He also expects that the Tadano TM-ZE550 will come with a large number of advantages for his business, as it will make it possible to accept and carry out more jobs, reducing the hassle of having to hire cranes. He also adds that the TM-ZE550 looks absolutely great on his truck.

The EOS team and its new TM-ZE550 are being kept busy during this Christmas season: Since the day of the handover, the crane has been used in a series of night time assignments that will last a total of six weeks, in which the team is installing Christmas lights and decorations throughout Perth CBD and will then remove them. EOS Electrical will be taking care of this job for the next five years after having won the corresponding tender. In addition, EOS will also be using the new crane for electrical maintenance work.
